Got mine today, it has a really nice finish. Not gloss, but it looks and feels very smooth. Now I just need to glue a spindle in for the game disc

These are gorgeous! If only I enjoyed the games.

I'd love to see Yoji Shinkawa "novelization" SteelBooks like these for the Metal Gear Solid series, but I know that'll never happen since these are Kojima Productions and MGS is solely in Konami's hands.

They did a steelbook for the video version of the MGS comics a long time ago, it was G1 but it looks great. I use it as a MGS2 steelbook since it was mainly for the MGS2 conics and MGS1 was more of an extra
