Wasn't expecting us to get this because of the recent steelbook release, but very happy we are! Disappointed to see that's the reverse artwork though... Laurie can usually do so much better.

As i have said in another post I have the laserdisc and some scenes were slightly altered for the DVD and blu-ray. I wonder if they will be on it.

Us collectors are suckers and they know it. They could have waited and released this as a steelbook instead, but no..let's fleece them of more money!

Oh? Only difference I'm aware of is the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut scene which are both included with this according to the content info.

A steelbook was only just released by the studio itself (Warner Bros) about a year ago though, so I can understand why Arrow opted not to do another.

Note
UK release date is December 16
USA release date is December 10

Arrow Films UK and Arrow Video USA are always separate releases

Sold out everywhere except here
UK release date was originally Monday December 9 that can result in some retailers website listings auto list as sold out next day due no stock showing on their internal listings.
A retailer website that public see and their internal systems that can only be accessed by staff and suppliers are separate listings and sometimes do not match each other due one or both not been updated with a release date change.

Example Arrow store website was showing as a pre order yesterday with a release date December 16 but their internal store listing still listed December 9
I got a dispatch email from Arrow Store early this morning that would have been processed on or before December 9

Retailers Arrow/Zavvi/HMV websites might change back to pre order in a few days if stock still available and if their internal listings gets updated to match the website release date.

Amazon UK website and their store internal listing was only added with release date December 16

HMV sold out weeks ago so not applicable. Don't know about Zavvi, so this may apply.
Take your word on Arrow, seems legit.

Some customers who pre ordered early direct with arrow films store got their orders dispatched yesterday or today but not all customers orders have been dispatched yet
I pre orderd on the day it went live on Friday September 27 that makes a difference when doing pre orders with Arrow Films UK Store.

Arrow Films UK got delivery of some of the stock but not all stock was received yet and that is why they changed the release date to December 16
So some customers orders instead will be dispatched based on that new release date.

Some customers who pre ordered direct with arrow store today got an email sent sorry about the delay
That email is automatically sent due arrow store internal listing still having release date as December 9 and not having enough stock to dispatch by that date.
