I love Ryan Reynolds, but I'm not sure about him as Pikachu. It's like Deadpool, but as Pikachu... and it's weird.

I'm actually really surprised... they might have actually pulled this off!
...and I'm pumped for what this could mean. I'm a fan of pokemon and always wanted them to do a cool live action movie. It wouldn't have been a plot like this... But maybe if its successful they will do a more traditional story eventually?

I literally had zero interest until seeing the trailer... it actually looks decent! But, yeah... not feeling Reynolds as Pikachu at all unfortunately.
