Dog Soldiers (Blu-ray Limited Edition) (Second Sight Films) [UK]

The biggest issue with this may be the fact that after the Scream Factory edition was released it was slammed for it's picture quality which was advertised as being supervised by the director which it was.

Neil Marshall addressed the issue in a statement where he clarified that the transfer was created from a cinema print of the film because the OCN had been lost and no one had a clue what happened to it nor even an inkling of where it might be.

So either this new 4k restoration has been done from either the same master as the Scream release, a better quality print or in the absolute best case scenario, they've found the OCN but nothing has been published to confirm if it has as far as I can tell.

They found the original print. This is a brand new 4K remaster of that. Marshall has stated that on his Instagram.

I can't see this blu ray being released by Oct 12th. Its under a month away and still no sign of any preorders.

Usually they go up way in advance (like The Strangers)

Maybe there'll be exclusivity for streaming it first?

Blu-ray release date is TBC

The tweet about October 12th relates to Digital platforms as in streaming on demand rental.

That has nothing to do with Second Sight Blu-ray release
The Home Media Physical Disc release date is not known yet
