I like this movie just fine, but it's not one where I'd care much about seeing it in 4K, and I don't have any problem with the current blu ray, so I'll have to pass.

Blu-ray in this release also has the new 4K scan remaster
New extras also

Although it does state that the website is under development and only taking pre orders on items

But good to see it back

Have to admit I've seen this film on TV a few times I think BBC 2 and I just can't like it. I really really don't understand the love for it but for fans of the film this looks a great package..... Having said that it's Studio Canal and they've messed up a few 4k encoding....... The Fog I think was one....

Yeah very nervous about SC being the distributor. Same goes for Apocalypse Now.

Liking the artwork on this, though. The amaray art is a bit monstrous.

Dispatch notice from Zavvi for the steelbook.

Not much of a surprise the glossy finish coz Studiocanal. This will be a good looking steelbook, but I will wait for little price drop as I already own the previous gorgeous looking full glossy steel. But geez this film is so weird, with unique atmosphere, and one of the most creepy moments in film history in the end, damn I still have that creepy face in my memories so live EEK!:smashed::sour::ohno: not sure If I want to see it again anyway, and in 4K lol

NOW these two upcoming do look super nice - even ignoring the similarities - although I feel that A NOW would have been better with spine like D L NOW:-

I have never seen this film, but the steelbook caught my eye yesterday while in HMV.
Have to confess as a big fan of Venice that was a big selling point for me, and Donald Sutherland is another reason why I purchased this. Looking forward to watching it whenever that happens.

I bought the steel on eBay about a year ago, had never seen the film before. I thought it was absolutely awful.. and I have lots of patience when it comes to films. Ended up selling it on eBay. Thought it was such a shame too because the steel might be one of the nicest looking I've ever seen. I rarely dislike a movie so much I get rid of it (also did it with Rian Johnson's Brick).
