Im not a fan of this movie but I do like the art shown above if it's to be just hope they dont mess around with it, thanks for the info provided mate... [emoji41]
I think it more likely that the difference in age ratings for the UK and German releases is due to the current censors at the BBFC with their patronizing 'we know what's best for you' attitude, as evidenced by the cut releases in the UK of "Hercules", "The Equalizer", "The Maze Runner" and "Kingsman: The Secret Service". Even "Paddington", of all titles, was classified in the UK as PG instead of U.
Put it down to the 'Nanny State' philosophy that seems to prevail here.
UK and Germany (and Italy, France, Japan, Spain, ...) share the same disc.
Or studios asking what they need to cut to achieve a lower age rating and therefore more sales...
If the BBFC was as open minded as its European counterparts, there wouldn't be a need for the film studios to cut their UK releases to achieve a more audience friendly rating.
There is, unfortunately, a wide disparity between what the BBFC consider acceptable in the UK and that which is considered normal in countries such as France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
