Lol. I had kind of forgotten about that. I do remember that after Earthquake, a movie called Rollercoaster starring George Segal used it as well.Sensurround ?
Yes!! It's listed with Dolby Atmos and DTS 2.1 SensurroundSensurround ?
I used to say that about Logan's Run, until it as released as poop art, but I agree Towering Inferno is long past due for a nice steel, that isn't poop art. When are we going to get The Toweing Inferno on a Steelbook?
Towering Inferno, The Poseidon Adventure etc, You can't beat that Irwin Allen film era! So far ahead of it's time. Even his TV series like Lost In Space etc, still hold up to this dayI used to say that about Logan's Run, until it as released as poop art, but I agree Towering Inferno is long past due for a nice steel, that isn't poop art.
Oh, for sure!! Irwin Allen was the man back in the day. Add to those stallwart efforts Land of the Giants and Time Tunnel.Towering Inferno, The Poseidon Adventure etc, You can't beat that Irwin Allen film era! So far ahead of it's time. The Time Tunnel is surprisingly intelligent. Unusual for a Irwin Allen production. My favourite bit in Earthquake are any sequence with George Kennedy. To say he's politically incorrect would be an understatement. He'd be eaten alive on the internet in this day and age....Oh, for sure!! Irwin Allen was the man back in the day. With all the TV to Movie House remakes, it would be so awesome to see a Time Tunnel effort on the big screen. Last Christmas the wifey got me the entire series in blu ray. It's awesome watching these things again.
Back on topic, it's been a while since I've seen Earthquake but remember loving it. I do recall it having adult themes in a "soapish" way, but the action and Charlton Heston with George Kennedy more than make up for it. Shout out to Marjoe Gortner.

Maybe they had to re-edit it to remove the George Kennedy sequences in case they offended modern audiences......Even though the release date is months away, the price just went from $34.99 to $48.99![]()
Haha!! If they did that, only a BD-25 would be required!!Maybe they had to re-edit it to remove the George Kennedy sequences in case they offended modern audiences......
