Really excited for this one, still waiting for the Beau is Afraid release!
That's gonna be interesting. Beau is Afraid is one of my favourite films of the last 10 years. People who worked on this new film said that it is very clearly a red vs. blue narrative. That sounds absolutely horrible but because of this guys' previous films alone I'm gonna give it a chance.
The absolute last thing I want to look at in a movie is someone scrolling through social media. It's meant to be escapism. I've noticed a few movies do it where it's been a somewhat fictional platform and whilst it hasn't impacted me as much as when it's obvious real-world e.g. Instagram Facebook etc., it feels ugly & super lazy. Hopefully it's not a large part of the movie but I'll be honest, I'm already put off.
Anyone else feel that way?

See for me Beau is one of the worst films I’ve seen ever but I adore Hereditary and Midsommar and they are 2 of the best films I’ve seen in the last 10 years so I will always give him a chance
I enjoyed the first hour of Beau and then even for me who usually loves all that weird sh!t just went too far for me. BUT I will give it another watch one day and if A24 ever did an edition id pick it up
