I have a question regarding this edition or generally about your group buys with Filmarena. Maybe you’ve answered this elsewhere, or perhaps you handle these requests individually—I'm not sure.
I'm from the Czech Republic and I've seen discussions in Facebook groups, but they’re quite unclear about what’s actually happening.

I preordered the Filmarena Edge of Tomorrow edition through your GB (carllenc) back in 2023.

• Is this edition going live anytime soon? Do you have any general information for people whose payments were collected through your GBs?
• Are there any options to get a refund from your GBs?

Well, the current situation is that we are all just waiting. Last update we got was that they were getting ready to finish and send out three FACs (Shawshank, Cry Macho and Little Things), but its been months since then and we have seen nothing. Unfortunately no mention of Edge Of Tomorrow either

We are trying to communicate with them, but we are only getting basic answers like "we are working on releasing these FACs". Well, I think we will need to see some physical evidence to support those claims. I mean, okay, they are at least communicating, but thats all we are getting from them.

Regarding refunds: they still owe money to carllenc because he refunded multiple members here for the GvK discs from his own pocket, so if they are not sending any money for that I think its safe to say the option of refunding these pre-ordered FACs isnt there either

Thank you for your response. A small update from my side. I had several FAC pre-orders directly with Filmarena, mainly the ones I managed to secure through their website, so I didn't have to go through a group buy. As of today, I have already cancelled all of my pre-orders. The last one was exactly 14 days ago. Filmarena refunded me for the cancelled titles, always on the last possible day according to their terms and conditions—that is, exactly on the 14th day after the cancellation. From this, I assume that if you have pre-orders placed directly, they still have some funds, and if you request a refund, you should get your money back.
It should be noted that they do not respond to email communication, but they do respond to phone calls or in-person visits

I don't know why it wouldn't be possible to cancel group buy pre-orders or whether you’ve even tried doing that.
If Filmarena is truly having problems, then at least for Czech customers who ordered via the website and according to the applicable terms and consumer protection laws, they still process pre-order cancellations properly and return the money within the legal timeframe.
