This looks like it must be home brew 3D. F9 was never released in 3D. (Unlike Turbine's earlier release of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT, which was in theaters in 3D)

Actually F9 was released in 3D in some selected theaters/countries. It definitely had official 3D screenings.

Yeah, and I dont think they would do that.
Restoring movies/doing new scans is one thing but converting them to 3D afterwards without a proper source would be kinda weird.

They are not doing that. They only release official studio conversions per announcement for this 3D series.

That's why they refused to tag the 2D extended prolog on the 3D version of their Jurassic Dominion 3D release. (Sadly so imho in this case )
