The all new “true crime” case in Fargo’s latest chapter takes you back to 1979 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota. “Lou Solverson” (Patrick Wilson), a young State Police Officer recently back from Vietnam, investigates a case involving a local crime gang, a major mob syndicate and a small town beautician “Peggy Blumquist” (Kirsten Dunst) along with her husband “Ed” (Jesse Plemons), the local butcher’s assistant. Helping Lou piece things together is his father-in-law, “Sheriff Hank Larsson” (Ted Danson). The investigation will lead them to a colorful cast of characters that includes “Karl Weathers” (Nick Offerman), the town lawyer of Luverne, Minnesota. A Korean War vet, Karl is a flowery drunk blessed with the gift of gab and the eloquence of a true con artist. Three-time Emmy® winner Brad Garrett will play “Joe Bulo,” the front man for the northern expansion of a Kansas City crime syndicate. The new face of corporate crime, Joe’s bringing a Walmart mentality to small town America. His number two is “Mike Milligan” (Bokeem Woodbine). Part enforcer, part detective, Mike is always smiling – but the joke is usually on you. Bulo and his crew have their sights set on the Gerhardt crime family in Fargo, currently led by matriarch “Floyd Gerhardt” (Jean Smart). With her husband at death’s door, Floyd takes over the family business, frustrating her eldest son, “Dodd Gerhardt” (Jeffrey Donovan). An impatient hothead with a cruel streak to match his ambitions, Dodd can’t wait for both his parents to die so he can take over and expand their business from kingdom to empire. “Bear Gerhardt” (Angus Sampson) is the middle son, an intimidatingly large man who, although inarticulate, is the most decent of his clan. “Rye Gerhardt” (Kieran Culkin), the youngest of the Gerhardt clan, views himself as a big shot, but in reality he’s just a small dog with a loud bark.

Emmy Award winning Executive Producers Noah Hawley (showrunner/writer), Joel & Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron all return for the second installment. Fargo is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions, with MGM Television serving as the lead studio.

Finally finished Season 3 and personally it's my least favourite so far. It was still pretty great though... especially towards the end when things really started to heat up. Bring on Season 4! :D

@Noodles Not sure if you saw but the series is currently on an extended hiatus buddy.

The writers have said there is a lack of creative ideas for a fourth season. It looks like they're looking at 3 or 4 years from now. Cheers mate!

Oh man, that sucks. :(

Although, I do appreciate that they don't want to rush into anything without having some great ideas to work with. I'm sure the wait will be worth it in the end! :)

Thanks for the info dude.

New info on S4 buddy @Noodles

Chris Rock is moving to Fargo

The comedian will star in season four of FX’s hit limited series Fargo. The network announced Friday at the Television Critics Assn. press tour. The critically acclaimed series will begin production next year, for a targeted air date next year as well.

Thanks for the info!

I'm not a big fan of Chris Rock to be honest (his voice irritates me lol), but it's good to see they're moving ahead with Season 4 and finally casting people.

Thoroughly enjoyed the original film. When the series came out, I wasn’t sure what to think at first - nearly didn’t give it a second thought.

After seeing the first season, I was blown away.. After watching the second season, I missed the first season.. but then it really grew on me and I quite enjoyed it. When I first started getting into the third season, I felt like something wasn’t right, the magic was missing... but it ended with a bang and I also enjoyed it (although not as much as the first two).

Looking forward to this season and much like the previous ones, I feel like this one will turn out just right. :thanks:

Thanks @kaw for the trailer!

Very excited to see this returning... loved all 3 seasons so far, and the fourth looks to be just as good!

2 episodes in to season 5 and I'm absolutely loving it so far! Then again, there's not been a single season I've not enjoyed.
