Even if it has no inside art, etc, a re release will affect the value of the original release. The more likely they are to print a re release, the less likely I am to buy any steelbook. For that reason, I hardly buy any from Germany these days unless the specific steel is really compelling.

Germany is definitely the country to avoid steelbook-wise. I don't have any of the German "holy grails". No John Rambo, no Wanted debossed, no whatever the other steels are. I got Zombieland, which is by far the best looking German steelbook ever released, but now that they are re-releasing it, the hell with them

gotta say mayflower i will be ordering this as its on my hard to get list and if i can get it at a cheap price now and still keep an eye out for the first release and get that when someone panic sells then i will be in there like a rabbit in a hole. he he

The original release is not hard to find on eBay. You can get them for regular price still hahaha. It costs about $50 to import it to the USA when it first came out...and you can buy it brand new for $50 on eBay.

How can this be a re-release? To me, it looks like it has gone beyond the Saturn exclusivity period giving room for other retailers to sell this.
