Don't think there's any notification. Just timing and luck. Someone usually posts here that some have become available but by then they are probably already gone.

If Manta had shown some live pics before the PO to convince me the steelbook looked better in reality than in the renderings, I probably would have caved, too. But since they did not, I leaned back in my chair and just watched how long it took for all editions to go OOS - probably my most relaxed PO day of all time.

The fullslip so ugly cant belive people like it . I got the one click for the box and lenti but fullslip is big big let down for me , so many other nice picture that they could use

Unfortunately, it's not always a question of what they'd like to use, but what they're allowed to use - the studio seem to have been really strict with the art on this one.

Except by the sound of it most people don't seem to like it. Personally I do.. at least more than the other editions and in general I'm just not a huge fan of lenti slips. I've owned versions with all the art you posted and don't honestly like any of them - I'm happy all the material is new. Think most can at least agree this fillm honestly still hasn't been given the treatment it deserves as far as overall packages go though and most would have preferred the original reveal art to be on the steel. I'm happy enough until something better comes along but if they're always going to be fighting Fox over art probably best not to hold your breath for anything amazing.

i've known the Asian retailers to both announce and just re-list cancelled/declined orders

Would've been perfect. I'd go for it no matter the slip, just to get such steelbook. This way, after such a long wait, I simply gave up.

As far as I have noticed Manta Lab always announces restocks in advance on Facebook. The restock is then usually at the same time as the next pre-order, so in this case with the pre-order of "Justice League" which is the next release of Manta if I am not mistaken. So don't worry, when it's on, you will know.
