Dont know why you care so much if I preorder or cancel something but I was online and thought in that moment it would be a good idea.
So I dont have to check the forum/manta site for restock updates or order updates if I would like upcoming live pictures. Just making things easier.

Well Fight Club was a always want from me for a premium Steelbook release. But the renderings of the Slips are really underwhelming. Hoped they will provide some live pics before shipping, even asked them via facebook.
But no pics and Aniv said there will be no delay, so I canceled before they start shipping tomorrow.

Mate - don't take this the wrong way, I do find this extremely odd for someone who made all this trouble to pre-order this, obviously follow the thread and as a 'always want' premium steelbook. It is now sold out, no guarantee you can successfully find another copy at cost if/when they do re-stock this, and then suddenly to cancel this all because you couldn't see 'live pictures'?

You might as well not bother getting into the premium treatments if small things like this make you cancel a highly sought release. Like I said, your decision is upto you, but I find it extremely weird my friend.

My post was meant show my frustration, after all these years not getting warm with the only FC premium, really pisses me off.

The price is standard for nearly all premium steelbooks and is nothing any different. To be in this game, especially buying one clicks, you need to be able to afford this expensive hobby, and take that 'risk'. Yes risk is part of the game in everything we do in our lives. If you want everything to be perfect then you are in the wrong game mate. It's the same for other collectibles as well, you put an order in not seeing the actual live pics and take that gamble, especially when it is highly sought and OOS.

Yes it is a lot of money you are paying, but it is nothing different from any One Click, and I have purchased many simply because I can afford it and take that risk.

For this particular release, it IS a premium treatment for an old catalog title, so chances are this getting re-released again as a premium treatment is going to be pretty rare for one of your 'always want premium' steelbooks.

If money means greater than risk, I would advise you to not bother getting into the premium treatments at all and just stick to one standard steelbooks, or just buy one premium edition. Nothing is perfect mate. Read the Shaun of the Dead EverythingBlu thread

Now that you posted this, and if the live pictures are 'perfect' for you and you already cancelled this, and you won't able to find a copy you will look like an idiot on the whole forum mate! I would advise next time to keep this to yourself.

As one of those who missed out and desperately wanting one at a fair price (although not OC), I can see both sides. Offering it to someone in the community would’ve been a very nice gesture, and mentioning just cancelling it probably not the most «respectful» thing to do. But I don’t really think it’s anything wrong with it, it’s totally your choice. And the name-calling is just bullshit and uncalled for.
