Kino Lorber have dated and detailed the upcoming Film Noir: The Dark Side of Cinema VII (1956-1958) Blu-ray release. The three-disc box set will be available for purchase on June 7.

The Boss (1956)
Description: Coming home at the end of World War I, Matt Brady (John Payne), the black-sheep brother of big-city political boss Tim Brady (Roy Roberts), is a loose cannon who gets into drunken fights and impulsively marries a total stranger, the plain but kind-hearted Lorry (Gloria McGhee). Taking over his brother's political machine after Tim's sudden death, Matt becomes powerful and extremely wealthy, but his corrupt dealings with a local gangster (Robin Morse) threaten to destroy everything he has.
