Square’s announced that classic RPG Final Fantasy V will be making the jump to PlayStation Network as part of the PSOne Classics series.
No release date has been mentioned as of yet, though expect one in the not-too-distant future.
For those out of the loop, FFV originally released on the SNES back in 1992, before receiving updates on PlayStation and Game Boy Advance. Combat is based on the retro-tastic Active Time Battle system.
The PSOne release also packs in a heap of sumptuously-designed CGI sequences not present in the original version.
