never really been a huge fan of eBay , know loads of people who buy and sell on there and have had a mixed response from them with there experiences .

But after taking a look on there it seems to be a gold mine steels , already found loads of transformer steels on there and a few others .

Many on here use it for sourcing steels and what have your experiences been .

I just started buying steels and have grabbed around 10 over the last few weeks from there. No issues, except for an Inglorious Basterds coming from Germany that seems to be taking a little longer than it should. Some people get crazy with their prices but there's definitely some good deals to be had. In some cases, it's cheaper for me to buy on Ebay rather than from a retailer because overseas shipping and customs fees.

@shejon01 yeah pal I've heard about things that go on , my brother in law got stung pretty bad over some stereo equipment .

@Matt X yeah just picked up a few tonight off there , couple more to my transformers collection ,was after a gremlins steel but got out bid .

@Cobster ebay can be a handy tool, to buy/sell or just watch/research....just be careful though, being so big it attracts a few dodgy people as well.

When buying...ask questions about the items if you're a bit OCD and ensure they will pack the items well, i've had items sent in cereal boxes / foil/ all sorts lol

@Naughtius Maximus dont think I would ever sell on there tbh.

I'll just use it for buying , I'll see what the ones I've ordered are like , really hoping they are as described .

Buying is pretty risk-free. Worst case you take a while to get your money back. Selling is more risky, but I've done a little w/o any major issues
