A century before the events of ‘Game of Thrones,’ two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.

Well this was surprisingly decent. Short and sweet. Confined story and very funny. Loved the quick sharp flashbacks. I’ll keep going with it

I really like the cast and the characters... But I feel like I needed more.
Its slightly underwhelming especially with not much happening yet and I already am feeling like these short episodes are going to get frustrating... and they are only going to get shorter:
  • Episode 101 - Releasing January 18, 2026: 42 minutes
  • Episode 102 - Releasing January 26, 2026: 33 minutes
  • Episode 103 - Releasing February 2, 2026: 31 minutes
  • Episode 104 - Releasing February 9, 2026: 34 minutes
  • Episode 105 - Releasing February 16, 2026: 37 minutes
  • Episode 106 - Releasing February 23, 2026: 31 minutes
The entire first season is only a few mins longer than Avatar Fire & Ash... Maybe this should have been a movie?

And also on a total side note, I have absolutely zero desire to see a guy taking a dump on tv. I know its suppose to be for comedy... but I don't need to see the actual :BS:.

Just watched the first 3 episodes and I thought it did a good job blending humor, action, and moments of genuine tension. For once we have a GoT show that isn’t completely nihilistic.

I definitely could have done without the two shock moments at the starts of the first two episodes.

Episode 4 released early in order to not conflict with the Super Bowl. Spoiler alert, it was pretty great.

I like it as well. I'm only one episode down but it's good definitely a good tone so far. What were those? I don't know how to do a spoiler tab but I'm pretty I know the first one towards the start of the episode.
