Gears is the only XBox game I've ever cared about and probably the right decision to make this exclusive to that console but as a PS5 owner I'd of loved to play this as it looks great

Agree 100%. I do own an Xbox but I never use it any more, so this’ll be the first time it’s been turned on in months. Really hope the steelbook isn’t exclusive to the CE.

Apparently it was being developed for PS5 as well, and the decision to reveal it as an exclusive was a very, very late one, to the point that a PEGI rating was registered for a PS5 version. Doesn't look like it right now but might end up seeing it happen down the line.

Yep I've got no doubt when this game doesn't sell nearly as well as they're hoping for a PS5 version will end up happening after all
