Hmm, the more I see of that finish, the less I like it @£50
Now I'm not sure if it's worth it at all really. I don't like to bash but, that's not looking nice to me at all.
All that black, if they'd mixed up the colour detail on the background of the chest plate a bit. I don't get it. It's all one colour.

Not at all. I'm a graphic designer, so I know my colours.
Actually turned out better than i was expecting tbh. The weathered embossing looks great to me.
In the mock-up there's a burnished metallic effect on the chest plate to delineate it from the outer frame of the steelbook.
Nice design.
Now it's gone, with a bland and consistent all black. No depth or contrast added by the burnishing effect to suggest it's a chest plate against the steelbook.
Poor choice leaving that off imo.
Also looks to have lost the design on the second shoulder straps and the neck line at the top as well.
Looks way worse now it's just several embossed motifs and shoulder straps.
Hopefully they'll continue to add to the design but I highly doubt it. Reading that description, it sounds done and finished.

It might be one of the better efforts, I'll agree. Sad that they've chosen to drop a few key design choices for the worse. Costs, I guess.
I loved that mock-up.
Now it's looks more Boiled chicken than Roast Chicken.
Oh yeah, I even thought it's black duct tape in the upper corner covering something for some dumb reason...
They're such ToC (Titans of Crap), that even if they had something better, they've gone and ToC'd it.
Got an email last night saying the supreme is delayed. I mean I'm still not sure I want it. But at least I currently have the option right. I assume the regular from zavvi will delay also.
Doesn't fill me with confidence. They are quick enough to show all their arty pictures, but then go silent when it's delayed!
This delay has annoyed me. The last straw as it were. 
Cancelled my order after that email. I came to the conclusion that I just don't like that steelbook anymore.
Invested instead in the older HDZeta/Italian EU embossed/glossed/metallic release from a few years ago.
Blu Ray only so popped a 4K Gladiator set inside. Bingo. Now I'm more then satisfied and a great substitute.
I wasn't aware of this one until I went searching.
After all the waiting for the announcement and release of this Titans Gladiator set, I'm over it now.
Cancelled my order after that email. I came to the conclusion that I just don't like that steelbook anymore.
