Agreed. I think Paul Mescal was badly cast. He's a great actor but he was so wrong for the role. It went downhill from there.

Yeah! He does not have the gravitas or star power to carry a film like that. I think it would have been a better film overall if his character wasn't in it and we just followed Pedro Pascal. Cut him entirely because his whole inclusion made the film weaker. His character had almost no personality.
