Getting more and more pumped for this. Please be better than KotM! Rewatched 2014's Godzilla last night and what an astounding watch. A pitch perfect movie with an incredible sense of dread. It manages to be a big sleek hollywood blockbuster while hitting you with the "in the middle of the action-ness" that Cloverfield had.

Yeah I've gone back and watched the films again (or for the first time in the case of KOTM) as well

Godzilla - actually better than I remembered
Kong Skull Island - as average as I remembered
KOTM - as bad as I imagined

That being said really looking forward to seeing this Thursday, get the feeling it'll be enjoyable even if the story is awful :rofl:

Loved this! Don't get me wrong its dumb but it knows it is and just flies with a fantastic b-movie popcorn fest.
That's exactly how I felt, that it was certainly a little surreal at moments but the overall experience was a good watch and I was out of popcorn so I need to get some more next time I'm at the store. I wanted to post last night but no one else had posted in here yet and I didn't want to be the first to post about it.
