I called 2 stores right at 10 AM & they wouldn't hold one for me smh..... I don't get off work until 6 PM.

I get a feeling these are going to be rare, I went in right as they were opening and there was like 4 people who made a beeline for these never ever seen that happen with a steelbook in my town (there is normally just me and one other collector I always wonder if he posts here from Southern Utah). First one I picked up had a spine slash so I put it back guy behind me grabbed it and I told him it had a spine slash so he put it back when I left at 10:05 the only one left was the one with the spine slash.

Agreed with above. This was the first time there was an actual line in front of my Best Buy and it was pouring rain outside too. Usually it's just me and a few other people. But this was a crowd.

Best Buy only put out 6 at first too and people were like wtf? Then they brought out a box more. But by the time I left there were only a couple remaining.

I've got one for store pickup, and I won't be able get into the store until about 7 or 8 [emoji27] Hopefully they picked me a mint copy because you guys are scaring me with all this talk about people scrambling to grab these. I don't want to walk away with a spine slashed, corner bashed steel!!

My store had 4, I picked up one for myself and one for a friend. They had 4. I first picked up 3 to compare, one had a spine slash other two were good. By the time I had 3 in my hands, the 4th was grabbed. By the time the 3rd was back on the shelf, I went to check out and looked back it was gone. Lol.

Another friend of mine reported 10 at another store. I overheard talk about a "ton" of pre-orders. I wouldn't be surprised if some show up after pre-orders are dropped. But it looks like it'll be rare. Its hard to tell tho, I had a similar experience with Zero Dark Thirty, and I'm still sitting on the extra one I bought.

Glad I did in store pickup (for $14.99!). Not a single GotG steelbook out, tons and tons of the amarays though. Couldn't even find a hole that the Steelbooks were supposed to fill.

Just came back from 3 different stores and all Steelbooks are sold out in less than 10minutes. I was only able to pick up the one I pre-ordered. People were buying by the hand fulls I just missed getting an extra one at my regular bestbuy as the guy 2 people in front of me had 10 copies.

Went to two Best Buys and none of them had any. Had someone else go to a third location, but no success. I preordered one, so at least I have a copy (assuming they didn't mess up my order). Was looking for a second copy in case mine was damaged, but after reading everything, at least I'm lucky enough to have a copy waiting for me.

So, apparently BB has removed the 1 copy per person that they were trying to enforce with their earlier Marvel steels.
