Unfortunately some of the WORST scalpers are members here. Odds are you read their posts all the time. You can tell who they are because they will hype stuff up or post eBay links.

I have never sold a SteelBook for profit. Not saying I never will, but that's not what I'm about. I've been helped by generous ninjas and I don't mind helping ninjas out.

I have many spares of limited editions that I buy as investment copies. So I may sell them or trade them later but I haven't chose to done either yet.

We understand it happens, we are aware of "who is who" and all of that stuff.

I personally feel fortunate as a member here, that without even asking, a few members here approached me directly and asked if I needed any help for the group buy.

just saw this post and it touched home, I apologize @apsmith21 for wanting to address/respond to this, but there is one thing I noticed on this forum is that if you buy multiple copies(or show that you did)of a movie/steel for yourself, that you are the type of collector who gets a rush in having more than one copy no matter how many we buy, somehow it's like we are doing something bad. They are out there and it should be our right as collectors to buy as many copies as we want. I never have sold one on ebay for profit it is not my intention and when I grabbed certain titles on ebay for example I have the same right as everybody else to get it and pay the premium. and If I am lucky enough to put my hands on few titles through proper channel, it should be ok. If I were selling them for high profit than I would agree that taking advantage is not right (at the exception when it's a very rare item than it's normal that prices are higher) but for regular collection I feel the same as @NoDingsNoScratches

hahaha me too, loved it since day 1 when people were bashing the steel design, but for me I liked it and when Taiwan came out with that slipped I just went crazy for it, needless to say I don't have only 1 copy coming my way (and no worries people I didn't buy from jsdvd so I didn't take away the chance of somebody getting a copy for themselves on there)

I used a brand new microfiber towel with a bit of warm water, took a while , but worked ok. That was a pain in the ass! Wtf were they thinking????

The war face was definitely not working on Tuesday. Infact it was the help me face you had. You should have told angry mob @ BB that you were a ninja.
The steel does have an interesting appeal though, I still think it's ugly, but so far, North America for the win IMO, with a slight advantage to BB. Why didn't FS put "ONLY @ FUTURESHOP STEELBOOK" on the J-card. I know it's minor detail, but it should have been there.

@Actarus I actually went Taiwan version too. Glad I did!

Being honest, I couldn't stand the movie, but the steelbook is fun. And for $20 I'd have bought one. But unless there's an inexpensive opened one on ebay at some time in the future I don't see myself getting this. The thread has been very enjoyable too!
