If this is a "poor" steelbook then I'd like to know how to label many of the TRULY poor steelbooks of which there are many (compared to this one that is):-
Execrable ? Abhorent ? Ghastly ? Shocking ? Hideous ? Appalling ? Dreadful ? Frightful? Offensive? Detestable ? Loathsome ? Repellent ? Repulsive ? Grim? etc.

There are loads of poor steelbooks but they are not usually priced this high and it's marvel (many collectors dream), we have high standards of marvel when you compare to other releases of marvel some countries have had in the past (blu fans, play, kimchi etc) so I was hoping (possibly like many) they would mirror that quality
Price would of been more acceptable if these had a qualtiy finsh and some a much better design (and some back art)

Why are you sliding it off?
It's a magnet it will come off lifting it from a corner, I would not slide it back on as well, put an edge on first, if you miss then lift it off, then try again, until you get it right. In short use the magnetic force/effect don't work against it. I can see why some people claim it will scuff or cause hairline scratches on gloss steelbooks, I know this is not gloss but I'd not take any chances. I know some will not want to put it back on but there may be other steelbooks you have with magnetic Lentis.Thanks for the review anyway, as for the steelbook looks average in this video, not sure what to think, will wait for other Ninja reviews, I have the other versions so it's ok if I don't buy any of them..

this steel is clearly zero finish to me(because of the way the steel reflects the light), so the finish is better than simple/fully matte steels (and there are quite a lot of matte steels ....

I slid it off for 2 reasons. 1- it won't scratch the steelbook, regardless of what you've heard. And 2- I couldn't care less. It's cheap. I bought it for uniformity and don't plan on scalping it on eBay.

Some fully thick matte finished (non streaky) steels are very vibrant

wasn't talking about the general look(contrasts, saturation etc) even though the general look is partially due to the finish
I feel awful for those that paid full price for this after reading these comments, can't everyone be just a little kinder?

What I find a shame is that some people may like this and people squabbling like children over it, is well childish. It's a steelbook take a

I know a few people who bought it and really like it, if I didn't have what I deem to be a really poor steelbook which was the original release of this, i would get this but I don't double dip. In comparison this is much nicer than original release in my opinion. It's nice colour, 3D and lenticular front, there is MANY a worse steel than this particularly for people who don't own this incredible film.
