In a sense, this is very much true. But all Marvel films up to now have had exclusive artwork on the steelbooks without anything as drastic looking as this...Shame we can't see the rear art at present...

The only saving grace in the BB/FS artwork being different is the fact they like to print the title on the spine; the buttons of the Walkman wouldn't be on the spine so the front artwork loses its appeal to a degree- This is the only thing I'm thinking of that could potentially see the artwork given a total overhaul across the Atlantic...

Very much true; Think the first impression of seeing this artwork was one of total indifference- Still don't like the title-less spines of UK/Europe releases so maybe the Beat Buy & Future Shop releases will be different, seeing as all their releases up to now have included titles

If they wanted to be different they could have chose loads of other quirky designs. We already have this style of cover for the soundtrack. Could have made this steel look like i dunno... The milano's hull, quill's jacket...rockets jumpsuit...quill's helmet

I own the soundtrack and that artwork goes with that but not the steelbook. Highly dissapointed. Going to cancel this now

I like the concept but the execution is terrible! The worst is definitely the total lack of colors which makes it look dull and boring, ironically, total opposite of the film!
The missing film title is not helping the design at all, makes it look even more boring in fact. Also, the Spine seems reverted, which looks very stupid in this case.
BTW: If you take a closer look, it seems like the "STEREO" and the "cassete holder" will be embossed and the "cassete window" probably debossed (which would help the design a little bit).
