Just had this predictable response to my request for a replacement for my spine slashed copy:

Unfortunately, we do not have any more Guardians of the Galaxy 3D - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook's in stock, and would not be able to offer you a replacement at the moment.

I'm actually pretty pleased with myself for not ordering from Zavvi in weeks. Hopefully I can keep up this trend and maybe I'll cancel more of my pre-orders with them. Really disliking these dastardly business practises.

I have to admit, as much as Zavvi annoy me a lot, I do feel for them! The demand for this steelbook has doubled it's value on eBAY yet they have to sell theirs for £25 each? Wouldn't blame them if they put them all on eBAY for auction lol

Nope. They changed the price to £49.99 on their listing.

I dont even think this is the "Plus Groot" price. I think its going to be Groot at £11.99 then this at £49.99 (which is in line with eBay)

I know they've done that, but I'm sure it will go back to £24.99 - though I could be wrong of course. I'm expecting £24.99 plus buy the Groot thing...

Of course, no-ones confirmed how many Groot's you need to buy - if it's a 1:1 ratio... you might get away with buying 1 Groot and 5 steels to scalp

Not 100% sure but I imagine you'll need to add both... once GOTG is live of course. I'd have both pages open or put the Groot thing in your basket ready - at least with Zavvi no-one is going to punch you in the face to take things out your hand like has been happening across the UK today!

Yeah I have the dancing groot in my basket, just refreshing the steelbook page. I've noticed that the dancing groot has a release date of 30th of December, does this mean that the steelbook won't be shipped out until then or will is ship out asap?
