Hmm... Not sure if I noticed this before (or if it just wasnt denoted on the web page), but they've got the dispatch estimate down as 2020.

Is this just because they dont know the release yet - or is this a "Get out of Jail Free" card for if they dont get stock?

The date was mentioned on the order page originally (and still is), it's because the release date hasn't been announced.
They don't actually need a "get out of jail free card" because as I mentioned in their retailer thread the other day, Zavvi's TOS state they can cancel any order at any time before dispatch (even if you've been charged for it), so effectively they already have one.

Finally got round to watching this last night and loved it! Never expected Groot to be my favourite character - funny as! Can't wait for this to be released now, but regretting not ordering 2 copies - in case mine turns up damaged!

I hate that you have to consider that as a more than viable option when ordering from Zavvi...

I'm guessing this will have the film poster on front with no title, titless spine and the 5 characters haphazardly shoved on the back.

You are Disney's steelbook designer and I claim my £5.

Unfortunately we just have to put up with it in Europe (unless we want to import). I think it's a safe bet that we've seen the last of Disney Marvel releases with titles on the front and spine. I'm surprised at this point that Iron Man 3 had a title on the spine. Originally I was annoyed by it, but now I'm not that bothered (not enough to do anything about it). Sure, I'd prefer them to all match better but there you go.

As a collector of Zavvi's Disney steelbooks, I'm used to all the catalog titles having titles on the spine (albeit at varying heights unfortunately) and Frozen title-less. Presumably all future Disney Classics will follow suit.

This is the first Zavvi Steelbook ive ordered where I only ordered 1 (for this exact reason). I saw it pop up on my phone as live and ordered, but just didnt have my "Zavvi Steelbook Ordering" hat on :|

I am definitely regretting only placing the one order for this. Watched it last night - amazing. I actually think it might be my favourite Marvel film.

I really hope this comes back to pre-order. MBNA have decided to cancel my card and offer me an entirely different one come October so the order will be declined when the steelbook is released.

Hopefully if not, another country has the steelbook too that I can get (IE: Amazon italy).

Technically you should have 7 days to change the card but as has happened to me and others with cap 2, they have sold our copies before then which is unacceptable.

My card is going to expire before this comes. I can only hope Zavvi sort themselves out in the next couple of months.
