I get that this is a superhero movie, therefore most people would like to have the characters on the cover. Personally, I LOVE this cover art!!! It's a HUGE part of the movie and the main character's storyline. And at least it didn't turn out to be the placeholder, which was that all black steel with nothing but the title on it!

EDIT: I just like the fact that it's something completely different but still very appropriate for the movie.

I couldn't have said it better. I much prefer this to floating heads on the spine and overused movie poster concept art. I like that it's something completely different. I hope there are cancellations because I'll grab another copy for a friend.

I know but its easier cancelling a Amazon order then the zavvi one (as mine was tied to the punisher). Just keeping the order in case Disney change the art (unlikely but meh)

But that means that people actually HAVE to cancel, and I dont think enough people will. They would rather have the steel than not... :/

Don't forget about the resellers...They don't want to be holding orders that won't make a quick buck!

My hopes are with Asia and if not then I will get the Amaray Slip Cover version.
At least the US slip has the characters on it and no floating heads!

If I want to buy an advert with a cica 1980's Sony Walkman add on the front I'll just scratch around in my brothers attic for the orginal...

What a load of utter, utter ****. I've been disappointed by some steelbook art but this takes it to another level.

The worst thing is the original design that appeared on here briefly was so so awesome (the one that had a slightly Star Wars feel to it).

Disney need to listen to this feedback on 99% of customers not liking the artwork
Needs to be changed pronto before production starts of the steelbook
But with a release date November 24th, 2014 are we to late for that to happen
I don't mind this been delayed if need be so the artwork can be changed

I love the artwork; it's different. And people to think the FPO work was the final are/is crazy. They know nothing is final until Disney say so.

That new artwork looks C**P i know the old artwork was only a placeholder but that looked much better than this.

I doubt it as recent New Disney Marvel steelbook releases in Asia have had the same steelbook with only the difference been packaging with Full Slip covers etc
Except Blufans possible been totally different but that will be a long time before we see that and will be a back catalogue release when that happens
