From been out of stock and zavvi saying not possible to send me a replacement
Then at 23.25 yesterday they suddenly agree to a replacement
When I receive the replacement the damaged one I will return to zavvi

I now have 2 copies of the steelbook on its way to me

Although I usually wouldn't encourage this kind of behaviour, these guys are idiots and deserve all they get. Might teach them to appreciate their customers a bit more.

I haven't had a dispatch email for mine and I asked them yday for a replacement but I won't hear off them till probably about 2/3 after they said said it back for a refund.

Only problem is he now has two and had to pay for a dancing tree he didn't want.

I will wait until I receive both copies as to what I do
I can cancel the whole order and return my second copy for a refund or keep the second copy for trade but I will be cancelling the dancing tree either way using contact us option to cancel part of an order or all of the order

This I will decide when I get delivery after I inspect my replacement copy first

Yeah same here I cancelled the full order this morning, has I was going to take a chance on Monday for a replacement but got an email saying its been despatched and looked and saw the groot had been cancelled so will send my damaged copy back for a refund.

The Guardians steelbook was sent and i just cancelled it using the cancel part of the order section.

this is not special offer, zavi increases the price to 49 (was 20 something) and sell it for 34 if you buy along with the figure, zavi tries to trick you to buy more stuff

I ordered this for my work colleague as she cancelled her order by mistake. If I can cancel the Groot later on then I will, if I can't then a New Years present for myself!

The Guardians steelbook was sent and i just cancelled it using the cancel part of the order section.

I did wonder if I cancel the groot then would zavvi take another £25 out of my account as I have not used the promotion which would mean the £49.99 price tag would apply. I would guess they would just bill you £24.99 for the Steelbook and then if you cancel the groot then no further payment would be taken. Any thoughts on this?

The Steelbook is already available, so simply order both, and then a few minutes after try to cancel, the figure will be cancelled and not the Steelbook. I used to do this ages ago, but of course Zavvi don't want people doing it and these days I've found it doesn't always work. But if you want it, why not give it a shot?

If you do it that its possible all of the order will be cancelled

Wait till your steelbook payment has been taken and steelbook despatched and ideally delivered
unless the other part of your order has a release date same time

Opened my steel tonight (to watch the film) and have to say that I'm quite impressed with it, considering the artwork got slated and is a bit different.
