Got the same email this morning, but the steelbook is still awaiting dispatch since last Friday! Not looking too promising

I think it's time Zavvi hired someone from this planet to deal with stock and ordering. No dancing groot now (I wonder if they cancelled not due to stock issues but a pique of indignation at all the combo-orders seeing the Groot add-on cancelled) and I suspect absolutely no chance of the damn steelbook either.

So; I got the dreaded email this morning from Zavvi...But the light at the end of the tunnel was their offer of a 10% discount on my next order. Better than nothing I thought, UNTIL...

1. I went to purchase a video game I wanted. £40 everywhere else, thought i'd be able to grab it for £36.00 using my discount. Then I saw Zavvi's price of £44.99, making it more expensive, even after discount.

2. Then decided to check out the PS4 bundles; fancied one for a fair while now, and with the price falling recently, as well as the 10% discount, thought i'd be able to find myself a good bargain. Instead, there were 2 products available; One of the white PS4 on its own, selling for £344.99, and a console bundle which included a game I had no interest in (although this was sold out, so wouldn't of been much good even if I did want it...) Considering most PS4 bundles on Amazon are £329.99 (and not sold out!!) think this further cements Zavvi's place in 'worst online retailer' company for me...

Tried to cancel the groot the way somebody mentioned earlier in this thread and they have sent me an email stating i carnt cancel because part of the order shipped. I thought this worked?

I cancelled mine two days ago, worked fine for me. I waited for a few days after taking delivery of the steelbook then cancelled it.

Did you make sure you ticked the box only for groot
If you ticked the box for the steelbook as well that's why if would have failed as that's was already shipped

You cancel by following the instructions below
Note only do this if the steelbook as already been despatched
