Technically all the Guardians are Avengers by way of appearances and key parts of two Avengers movies; Infintiy War and Endgame....

But none of the Earth heroes appear in the movie, for sure (yes Star Lord is from earth but he's a cosmic/space hero). No Captain Marvel either.
It's pure Guardians/Cosmic characters from the Guardians franchise only.

They do reference the prior Avengers movie events but only so far as to what the Guardians experienced (namely Gamora and Peter stuff)

Adam Warlock is in the film, but he's certainly not an avenger. There are no avengers in here though, no. Only characters otherwise in the GOTG universe. A brief cameo from an avenger is a bloody weird reason not to by a 3D disc though..

And at 75 USD for the 3D Disc, I’d say it’s a pretty valid reason.

Where are you getting the 3d disc for $75m?
Cheapest I saw was £90 (so $115/$130 ish)

That shouldn't really distract from the 3D experience though, moreso just the film/story in general, but fair enough. It is an exuberant amount of money for the disc though, agreed.

Thats where I even whacked a preorder in(could justify it for essentially just a disc, even if it is Guardians so let it cancel).
Worked out almost £100 (all 3D releases are that costly now)
