because the movie isnt banned in germany anymore. movie was banned almost 40 years.

Yes in USA and lots of other countries including UK.

UK previously had a cut to female dunked in a boiling hydrotherapy pool.
All cuts was waived in UK in 2002 so is uncut since then.

It was only in Germany that previously had what was known as the cut version.
The cut was in regards to the gruesome shot where a nurse gets a syringe in her temple this was toned down in the German version.

The ban in Germany in regards to the uncut version was lifted in January 2024.

I like the front. Not keen on the writing but then it's not really for English speaking territories.

What I don't like, is the 2 on the spine rather than II. It's inconsistent with the front, and incorrect as well.

There was a similar issue with AvP2. The front said Alien Vs. Predator, but the spine said Aliens Vs. Predator. I hate that. It's just sloppy.

I just got mine today and the spine is written correctly with the proper font in red: Halloween II
I am quite puzzled for the picture on Amazon.de showed the spine with different font in white and 2 rather than II ( + the catchphrase in red in German ) and I found only one other 4K steelbook (on ebay) with the proper font,color and II. Last point, the bar code is the same for everyone, wrong or right spines!
Is it a correction? A bootleg? A rarity?
