Just wanted to say Happy 4th of July to our brothers and sisters in the US as Canada Day just past a few days ago here.

Me and a couple friends didn't realize it a few years ago on a trip down south to Cali that we would be in the US for the 4th of July. All of a sudden were hanging out in Santa Cruz and there's a huge carnival and celebration prep going on getting ready for the 4th. So we joined in on the fun. American's sure are a patriotic bunch. I swear everyone in Santa Cruz was out on the 4th either on their decks or at the beach at the carnival. We had lots of fun quietly just blending in as American's to celebrate Independence Day.

Good times :scat:

Well, I'm enjoying myself today. Just sitting outside having a beer (Heineken for those that are curious), BBQing some Brisket, a few racks of ribs and some chicken wraps. I'll also have some good ole' potato salad and ranch style beans to go with it. A good ole' hearty Texas meal if I don't say so. Also sitting back browsing the site on my iPad 3. It don't get much better than this. :oohyeah:

So yeah, the 4th of July is an awesome holiday.
Here's a picture of my grill with all the brisket, ribs and chicken wraps.
