I just wish that they would have come out with some different covers for these re-releases, but I guess they figure people with the older versions would feel cheated.

It's early yet - you have to remember that with the last Warner reprint (see The Dark Knight, Hangover, etc) that those reprinted steelbooks all have a permanent FSK logo on the steelbook - those are printed directly on.

So in a sense, while the overall design was the same, you have to deal with permanent ratings logo (you can't just peel off the sticker as with the original release).

Given that no one has a copy of the reprinted ones yet, we can't say either way if they'll be exactly the same as the original release.
