Meet the Creators of Sun Moon Rising
We are Emily Nichol and Priya Gill, two best friends who met under serendipitous circumstances. While looking for housing at university in BC, Canada, we came across each other’s posts in search of a roommate. After briefly chatting online, we took a chance and decided to move in together before officially meeting. As luck (or perhaps fate) would have it, we quickly hit it off. We found out that we were born less than 24 hours apart and have a lot in common, including curiosity and passion for astrology. Between work and school, we spent hours nerding out, studying our birth charts and those of our friends. We weren’t aware of any party games incorporating elements of the zodiac, so we thought it would be fun to create our own. What started as our passion project ultimately blossomed into Sun Moon Rising.
