Shouldnt this have been "Hawkeye: The Complete Series"
Season 2 is likely going to happen as it’s in development stage just don’t know exactly when it’s going to be on Disney+

That’s why I assume Disney listed this SteelBook as Complete First Season

I ordered these from Amazon. I’m assuming Zavvi will cancel my order from there. Still too much, but it’s now less than importing and I guess we know the finish will be full gloss here.

WandaVision and Obi Wan were listed as The Complete Series, so it's not like they're just naming them all the same, so I don't know, maybe you're right... is it definitely finished?
I'm aware of that, that's the reason I asked. Wasn't aware of it being much more successful than WandaVision, but now that I googled it, some media say it was.

Last week Screenrant reported that new footage was soon to be released. Missed that as well, sorry.

Not sure if they’re still in stock, but the Wolverine version was available on Amazon for 40 bucks a few weeks ago. Just looked and US versions are OOS, but imports are available for 27-40 on amazon.
The initial batch is always the most expensive as die hard fans and scalpers will snap them up and they know it. You are then left to the mercy of the second hand market which adds even more. So, the dilemma is do you pay up front, securing a steel or wait to see if more are released at a lower price? After six weeks, anyone who wants one already has one so the prices do drop, but as I said, do you take the chance or pay up-front? Someone is selling the Loki season one one-click for close to £300, that's not far off what I paid for both season one and two box set.

Rumour has it that the initial Deadpool & Wolverine steelbook cover art was Deadpool on the front and Wolverine on the rear as one steel but they decided to split them into two steels, each having their own front cover, to sell more copies?

In my case, I looked at the price and I said, “that’s roughly what I was paying for a premium 6 years ago. And i passed. When I saw the preorder on Amazon for a release in January, I jumped on it. One copy is enough for me. The price gouging and the diskless releases have kinda convinced me to buy less stuff—thanks Disney.

The cynic in me think that they were reluctant to sell the Disney+ series, to get people to subscribe to their streaming service but they also know there is a solid, if shrinking market for physical releases. So, they've released the shows and they've hiked up the price to punish you for not subscribing if you prefer your own, legitimate copy. Alternatively, they're putting out exclusive series for the loyal collectors, albeit at a premium price to complete your collection. Still undecided between the two.

Is the pricing that unusual for a TV series? I realise a TV series used to mean a good chunk of episodes per season and these struggle to make 8 full episodes but there was always a premium there.

If you really want to talk price gouging the cost of Deadpool & Wolverine steelbook in the US springs to mind.

Yeah, I discussed that in post #47.

I was kinda referring to D&W when I wrote my post, and I was definitely referring to that with respect to them not allowing releases with disks in Asia (and I believe Australia too).
