Finally got a measly 10% discount from A24. It was either that or return it for a replacement.
Couldn't be arsed to return it from the UK but expected better from A24 to be honest. Refund worked out at a grand total of £2.80.
Quids in then....:meh:

[An unpopular, I'd say heretical rant incoming]

Honestly I'm glad there's a company that doesn't cater to OCD crazies, and freely refunds or replaces them 100% at first squeak for mythical 'damage' only they see (not this particular instance, but in general), or that'll happen if I bang a digipack on the shelf, or drop it, or squeeze it accidentally a little too hard myself, while takingit off the shelf; and then later, after analyzing the statistics, either raises shipping prices, stops shipping internationally, or excludes that type of product entirely, if not closes its business. Seen too much of that happen over the last 20 years.

id like to know the actual return rates on steelbooks/boutique releases.. bet its a shockingly high number for probably shockingly irrelevant "damages" most of the time.. it must be a nightmare to deal with such a super entitled and equally exploitative customer base.. id be banning those cnuTs left and right

still remember this one guy here that ordered from amazon and got an item in perfect condition... but because they shipped it in an unpadded cardboard mailer he complained so much to CS that they finally gave him a full refund lol, which he deemed adequate compensation for the emotional horror he had to experience form seeing it being sent in a cardboard mailer

its never "i stop ordering from them because they use sh1tty packaging", instead its "i continue to exploit them for free replacements sent across half the globe even if the damage is negligible, so that they eventually LeArN tHeIr LeSsOn"

(id be pissed about the condition of heretic too tho, im talking about different cases)
