***Note, I am not a gamer,so any help, in building this thread, and the list of 25 nominees is much appreciated!***

Hi Everyone,

Here's your chance to vote for your favorite Video Game Steelbook™ released in 2011. I'll add some "hot" choices that you mention in the thread.

1) Chime in with your 'nominations'-I'll add them if they get multiple nods-25 slots for nominations are available.

2) You can then vote for multiple Video Steelbooks

3) In submitting nominations, please choose your 'overall favorites' of any Video Game Steelbook released(regardless of size, paint finish, etc etc) in 2011.

4) You can check results anytime, by looking at 'poll results'; final results posted before the end of the year.

5) Voting will continue through 1/15/2012 to allow any Steelbooks released by 12/31/2011 to arrive, and be considered.

my faves for the year are probably.... Arkham City (Catwomen), Battlefield 3 (If it was G2 it would be my #1 for sure) and Uncharted 3.

I just received my Skyrim SteelBook™ and it is indeed awesome!

Did you get the G2 version? I got mine from Germany and its stayin sealed. GOTY!!!

This needs to win. There is a reason why its expensive and impossible to get. This one was damaged in the listing even.

I sure hope that is not the current going price. There was a bunch (at least 4) sold earlier on eBay a couple of weeks ago I think that I totally missed out on. :/
It was sold by someone in Ontario, and there were at least 4 sold at around $50 each. Really kicking myself for not monitoring eBay more often.
This is now the only Steelbook I am looking for.

I nominate & vote Resistance 3

I rarely find time to play console games, however I made an exception last month. R3 is a proper popcorn game, mindless action with lots of memorable set pieces, plenty of sound FX to put your AV set up through it’s paces.

I appreciate it’s not original or innovative in any way, but it was fun & that’s something I feel has been lacking in AAA games of late.

I would have thought Skyrim and Zelda would have been contenders?

You sure it wasn't the stickerbook version. I haven't seen a regular one yet. I have seen a few of the stickerbooks though. They are the same artwork.

Seeing as I only have the Batman Steels and Uncharted 3, I could only my vote on those. I ended up picking the Batman Joker Steel.

I have both Crysis 2 and Deus Ex, Crysis 2 embossing is just too awesome over Deus Ex. Don't get me wrong...Deus Ex is amazing as well, but it is my 2nd favorite. I have Batman Arkham City Joker, but the no inside artwork didn't get any points from me. Otherwise, it would have been up there with Deus Ex

I am really surprised that Uncharted 3 is winning, I am not that crazy about the ring and general design of the case, would have much preferred some artwork on the cover instead.
