With the endless announcement of new steelbook releases it got me thinking how best to manage and keep up to date with what i have ordered.

I have been trying to organise myself so i know what steelbooks are coming-out and at what date so i have created a table

This can hopefully assist in managing my finances alongside the collection I'm trying to build

The question i ask is how do you manage to stay on track with what you have ordered?

Post any way you stay organised

Simple, look at your order history on the online accounts such as amazon or play etc.
On GB's your name will be on each one you put down for.
Any transactions/sales I normally update on my trades thread/active pending sales.

Quite simple really :)

I have pre-orders from YesAsia, Amazon.com, Play.com, HMV, Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, and GB's here its all a bit manic.

22 items pre-ordered from now until November (so far) and that doesn't include trades that are on-going :hilarious:

i look at all my accounts to check dates so i am prepared but like to have them all in one central location :D

A lot of pre-orders are like 1-3 months away so I will just focus on the ones coming in a few weeks time to make sure I have enough money. All the August and September releases I'm not focusing on yet. Just keeping an eye on the July ones first.

I just keep a notepad document ordered by release date and then alphabetically. I note the release date, where I purchased it from, how many I ordered and how much it cost. That way I can easily see any upcoming releases, whether or not I can afford them/still want them and if I do decide to cancel, can easily find the right store.

I use my trade thread to keep track of what is ordered and also use the upcoming release thread to help me out.

I also keep pre-order e-mails in my inbox to remind me of those. And keep PM's to remind me about incoming trades.

Thats about all I do.

I keep mine all logged in my calendar on my iPad 3 and also have a sub folder in my Gmail that is for PayPal receipts and PM notification emails. Here's a screenshot of my calendar tracking.

Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, with columns for 'Shipped/Paid', 'Ordered/Unpaid', 'In-Store Purchase' and 'Pending Order'

Then I list them by release date in their respective column
