I was fortunate to get 1 of each, but I do think it should have been limited to 1 per member for each slip based on the obvious demand this release had. I didn't order 2 of each because I wanted others to have a chance to get one.

Well I got in - but as my computer kept crashing and I kept on refreshing it seems I have made THREE duplicate posts in each forum. I went in to delete the later ones but it is now locked so I can't.

I'm not going to be penalised for the duplicate posts am I? If my later ones could be deleted and my earlier ones kept (think I was 75 in the 1/4 and about 83 in the Lenti) that would be great.

Worried that ALL of my posts will be axed because it looks like I was trying to be greedy when, in reality it was just my computer going slow as hell and me hitting refresh furiously to try and get in.

ANy help on what will happen?

Exactly and maybe of done them at separate times, the servers cant cope.

I don't know how members were able to get through in the first 6 minutes. I could not get the server to respond. Thread locked right after I got an order in. No telling if I even got it. I will brag on our admin but not on our server. Still needs to be better. Thankful for the GB. I hope I'm in.

Wow, that was stupid. Spent 5 minutes trying to load, the message box never came up, had to retry and by the time I was able to load the page again it was closed.

Really??? Both release at the same time, the server clearly can't do that. And now I'm stuck hoping Zavvi pushes forward with theirs

Same happened to me on the full slip, managed to get a 1/4, but that was horrific.

Sometime last week, I remember seeing a post state that these servers were more than up to the task for what was thrown their way, and I find it hard to believe after this. There was 100x more lag and loading time during this GB than there was for the two BF group buys on the other site. This was as bad as a Kimchi order during a full rush.

Times should have been staggered to alleviate some of the strain that this heavy traffic caused.

This was much easier to me than I thought. Even with an awfully slow internet connection, I was the second to reply the lenticular's thread. There was some lag, but nothing major.

wow - server overload !!
Accounting for people that ordered two copies I got in at 136ish (113th post) for the Lenti
and just squeezed in at 133ish (92nd post) in line for the 1/4 slip.

Not as crazy as the Frozen GB in which all copies went in under a minute but crazy non the less......
now the wait for delivery begins!!!!

Like everything in this life, this was a experience to grow from. I am very grateful for everything this site has provided me and my fellow ninjas, and I'm content I was able to secure a lenticular edition. This is the first time I experienced server issues @ HDN. As I mentioned previously, I think there should have been a one copy per member limit- as well as a thirty minute time gap between GB's. Hopefully this is taken into account for future GB's of this nature- no disrespect intended

What a joke, there's only 350 lenti available for us and some people put in for 2 while others couldn't even get the page to load...
