Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.
Best Regards
PLAIN ARCHIVE

Just got the email from Plain with their apology for the delay regarding the printing error for the PET SLIP...
Pictures attached also to show the mistake.

This is HOW you do business and HOW you respect, and are considerate to your customer base...IMO
This is also why I decided long ago to concentrate my collecting habits towards the East!

PLAIN ARCHIVE are the Rolls Royce of exclusives. And as a company are setting new standards with every exclusive they release.
Just amazing openness and fastidious attention to detail from them on everything they do. :notworthy::thumbs:

My Número Uno company for spectacular, unique, and orginal exclusives.....:D:woot::jawdrop:
:watch::wow:

got the email from plain archive, and to be honest, i couldnt even tell what was wrong with the slip

is it because the text is slightly off centered? i wouldnt even have cared...

but props to plain archive for not compromising quality and catering to our fellow ocd collectors!

They reprint the whole lot just cuz of a 1 mm print shift in ... I couldn't even tell where from the pictures they sent!? Is it at the spine? That's what I call QC - Quality Control - man!

Compare this to the 1 cm shift in the Nosferatu UK steelbook front cover picture that I doubt was even acknowledged.

If you are reading this Plain Archive, tell the company that is manufacturing the slip that for your troubles you will keep the slip that isn't up to standards and the corrected slip. Then give us both of them. :D

Comparing this level of attention to detail to the chaos going on in a certain other thread right now, and it just confirms the decision to spend my money in Asia was a good one.

PA, I salute you for your commitment to getting this just right.

Maybe we should all forward our emails to Zavvi and show them what real customer care is!:p
