Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.

That PET slip edition is seriously one of the sexiest designs I've seen for packaging on a blu-ray/dvd. This is one of the few times I'll make that statement before I have it in hand.

Seriously top notch, professional quality products. They have won my business for many years to come.

I sure hope not, seeing as they're for the Korean market. That doesn't mean Koreans won't be selling them on ebay, though. So, if you want it...be prepared to dish out the extra coin.

Seeing as i had plenty of time to decide between all versions before the pre-order went live, and wasn't able to decide by the time it did go live, i just got the triple pack. At $130 and some change for Plain Archive quality, it really wasn't worth the headache. Besides, if i end up not liking one or two, or even all of them...it's nice to have something to trade. Releases such a these, no matter what happens...you'll always get your value back, and if you refuse to act like a scalper, you'll be able to make someone else genuinely happy in the process.

Something to keep in mind for future releases.
