Iron man 2 selling as preorder on e(vil)Bay

This is NOT MY LISTING and I don't know anything about it.
I cannot find a valid store selling them.
The UPC that they are listing does not jive with iron man 2.

It will be available at Target. I am skeptical about this release though. The site says metal case, but the spine doesn't indicate is a steelbook.

Wow, thanks Horhay. How DO you guys find this stuff? I'm impressed !!

I agree - they are probably stating "steelbook" when in fact, since it's "individually numbered" is probably some other manufacture. Still . . .

Target does carry steels (dvd that is) so its not out the question. I got an email into the North American contact who can answer this question. Probably wont have an answer till Monday though. Most other inquiries are directly to our SteelBook contact in Denmark.

Reader Marlowe had an email to me about this title before it was posted elsewhere, but your boy had to get him some lunch!

Ok, confirmed ... not a steelbook ... what a Friday eh? :p Nice artwork though.

Hey John, great to hear from you!
Nope this I believe is a Metalpak, but if Ironpak I definitely want to know. All down to costs apparently.

From our contact-^

Well I am surprised on a Friday people were responding fast. So if you got any hopes of this thing being a Steelbook. Too bad though as it looks nice!

Yes, I guess you're allowed to eat (ha-ha).

I did query the ebay seller with this question:

"Steelbook" is a manufacturer's name for the case, and there are others, such as "Ironpack". Since this is preorder, is there some validation that this is indeed made by steelbook ?

And the response I received:

Hi this is a METAL CASE, No an "Ironpack"
Thanks

So nothing concrete (or should I say steel?).

This is USA @ Target so you could pick one up Big.

The person who confirmed this not to be a steel is the guy who sells the steels to Target Corp. So HE KNOWS this is not a steel. He handles the Steels that are sold to Target exclusively.

being released in the uk 25th october.i've checked all the sites & no one is doing a steelbook or any type of exclusive.only triple play,blu-ray,dvd & digital copy.

Yeah September and October will break me lol.

Well, I think the will pop up, just a matter of time. As of early last week our contact at SteelBook had told us no Iron Man 2 Blu-rays Steels had come off the line in Europe. Never asked the NA contact. I was trying to find out if the DVD artwork for the German release would match the Blu-ray and thats when I was told the above.

It looks sweet, I'll prolly buy regardless unless the tin or metalpack just look attrocious.

Iron Man 2 "Metal" package Target[USA] Exclusive Sept 28,2010

Release 9/28. Already discussed elsewhere, but I didn't see a thread. According to some sources this will "not" be a "Steelbook"(TM).

A source who may be involved with this project has told me that there may be confirmation as to what exactly this "metal package" is around mid September.

I searched but didn't see a thread yet-please feel free to nix if already posted.
