In a way we are reaping what we sewed. Obviously Zavvi saw that we were willing to shell out £26.99 - £27.99 for Jack Reacher, Hantsel & Gretel & G.I.Joe 2 from ES and have thought, **** we can make some money here. I knew it would come back and bite us in the arse. The price won't go Down, if anything it may rise in a few days.

The key point, missed by Zavvi, ES titles have so far been far more limited, with runs between 500-2000. Nowhere near 10,000.

Obviously the UK was not their over riding concern. They were more interested in the American market, hence the midnight opening.

I thought it was just because they were only allowed to place it up for pre-order on Thursday, so they took the earliest possible time to put it up, which is midnight. Just like have a midnight movie release.

I'm not too worried about slashed spines, if I get this then I'll get one with a 3d disc, even if it isn't embossed.

Zaavi needs to base their pricing on a floating format based on eBay pricing to get a maximum ROI.

Well I've ordered one for the moment to secure myself a copy.

The price itself is a joke, but at the end of the day no matter how much we moan people will still order it and the higher prices are becoming more of the norm these days and I think it's just something we're gonna have to get used too.

Hopefully Zavvi will do the right thing and this will be a 3D/2D/UV release to make it a bit more worthwhile.

I will be keeping my eye out on other worldwide releases though

Because this one is paramount/Disney and should match IM/IM2,well atleast on the spines.The German version is by Concorde,like the first 2 in Germany.

I was tempted to go for the German one too, but then noticed the price was pretty much the same after postage.

Oh we'll, I've put a pre-order down for this at the moment but will probably cancel at some point. Think I will be happy enough owning this on amaray.

Can't believe so many of you are whinging about the cost yet STILL buying it. Zavvi won't get the message unless sales are slow. I'll pick up the amaray in the bargain bin for $10 a couple months after and that'll do. I'm not paying this nor am I paying 21 quid for the regular amaray. Such a con!

No con at all, I've ordered 6 for now and will check my finances and may order another 6. Worth every penny and my friends and family will love these. Great looking steel, great price well done Zavvi keep up the good work.
