So basically it more than likely did take about as long as I predicted if you minus out the temp shutdown time. Its too bad that the other Kimchi Exclusives dont get more people interested. I wish people would buy them as we need these good movies to continue to do well.

A lot of us collectors do just that though. Its the thrill of the hunt for stuff that is OOP and hard to find. Not everyone does this, but a lot do.
This is true. Slap a sell buy date and limit the number then watch the frenzy! Case in point- people ACTUALLY wanting that limited edition 'Pop art' series of steels from Sony! Absolutely the crappiest steels EVER! But they said Limited so people bit. They bit on a s**t sandwhich! :p

I wouldn't buy any now. If your going to try your luck on the bay wait until people at least have them in hand first. Prices will drop from now until they are in hand.

I hope so but I think prices will not drop. I missed on Frozen 1/4-slip and the prices are still high.:(

I mean there is no way this lenticular is going to be at $150 and climb higher between now and release date. I just don't see it happening with that many lenticulars being released. The 1/4 slip may actually go higher after the initial drop in price once the bay gets flooded with them all. I wouldn't pay more than $100 on the bay right now. I can forsee many auctions for the lenti for under $100 right when everyone gets theirs in hand and then climb up eventually. People offering them for up to $185 are dreaming.

Anyone that buys off the bay right now is crackers, when the great flood hits the price will tumble like crazy. People should remember, this has almost 4,000 copies, most of which snapped up by scalpers. There are also a flood of blufans IM yet to drop too, the market is about to be deluged by this title. Patience.

For those truly annoyed with Kimchi, its no good simply moaning about them. I cancelled 2 other orders with them to make my point. That's the way to be heard. The only way.

Who the hell collects everything Kimchi puts out? Do you automatically like every movie they have chosen?
I only have a few Kimchis cuz some of their choices are crap movies. If your collecting HAS to be the whole of their releases reguardless of the film, you need mental help with extreme OCD. Or start collecting Hummel figurines...;)
Let's not again go into this pointless "why would somebody be collecting steelbooks because <insert a reason you can't understand>" argument.

People collect for different reasons and they are all perfectly valid reasons

Point well made. Point taken. But it does seem like guaranteed misery to me!! (to have to have everything) But, no ill will to those who collect that way. As long as we all can sing kum-bay-ya over our shared disdain for scalpers!!:D:p;)

If you cancel orders you get heard, you heard me didn't you? Money talks louder than words.

I'm sick of adding Kimchi Exclusives to my cart only to have it removed time after time.

I also choose what supermarket to shop in, choosing differently makes a difference. Ask Tesco, they know.

Make a statement with your wallet and you get heard. Heard by the right people.

I like steelbooks, not movies...:D By the way, does it make sense to collect more than one Edition of a single movie, even if you like it? We are collectors, not rational...

there was one on sale on ebay recently from a French seller for only 80 euro so prices for this release did drop compared to the release date

concerning Iron Man Kimchi there should have been a GB like there was for Frozen

i only collect Kimchi releases of movies i really like but so far didn't had much fun yet on collecting them

missed out on Snowpiercer , Thor and now also Iron Man

had to pay a small fortune to add Thor to my collection but don't know if i'll be willing to do the same for Iron Man as the preorder experience from yesterday leaves a bitter taste in my mouth

like many people already said once you added an item to your cart it should at least stay there for a couple of minutes and not suddenly disappear when you are going to through the payment process

does anyone know why there are no more Kimchi GB's?

Why is everybody speculating the potential value of this release? Well I kinda understand but...the only thing I'm thinking about at the moment is that this could truly be the best Iron Man release there is.The potential is definitely there. We still have the suspense of seeing "live" pics from Kimchidvd. Now that is something to be excited about.I sold My futureshop copy almost a year ago in anticipation of this and Blufans.I know people will feel that I'm nuts for doing so but if value was the most important thing in my book when it comes to my own personal collection,I would've kept the futureshop copy.I am simply running out of room and have to keep only the absolute best looking release that I feel and not the most valuable potentially.Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have valuable assets. But that's basically leverage for a lot of different reasons depending on your needs. When you remove the value away from a memorabilia, and it still feels like that this will be with you till the end of time...that's when you know you have something special.

We'll see but I don't think that the 1/4-Slip (Iron-Man) will fall below $ 100. But that's just my opinion.
(80 Euro for Frozen was a good price. That's true)

I completely agree and with such low numbers there's not going to be very many for sale.

I just received my copy of Thor 2 Lenti that I paid $136.00 for and that was the lowest I found after weeks of searching.

The same people who are critical of those annoyed by missing out.

Buying to use to swap is one thing, but some on here like the status quo whereby its always the same people time after time.

I don't collect all of kimchi releases because they're not all my kind of movies but I know members here that do buy all releases due to various reasons, which are none of my business and I support all collectors styles without judgement as others here support me in the same way. We are collectors of steelbooks, we have collections within our collections, be it the full range zavvi disney SB's, marvel, kimchi, blufans, sci-fi, 80's, zombie.. the list is endless.. its what we do and why we are a community, we don't do everything exactly the same but we RESPECT each others choices of how, why & what we collect. Throwing out judgements of mental health is not cool in my mind.. even if your post was a joke (that I didn't understand) your tone throughout had me feeling it was judgemental.

Well done everyone here who ordered successfully and good luck to those with pending orders, this will be a beautiful full package release and well worth the price tag.

Well done @harry, @kron and @bloodsnake007, so happy to see your names as some of the lucky ones here.. Awesome!! :):):):):)
