I will get ahold of this edition either way the cookie crumbles. I just hope I don't wind up having to pay crazy $ for it. Like I have so so many others.

Constantly rechecking to see if the art work had been posted. Excited about this one!

Somewhere further back in this thread, when it was revealed that there would not be a GB for this title, someone (I think Digitalbabe) indicated that HDN would work out an alternate way for Ninjas to get ahold of this steel. I took that to mean there would be some type of accommodation made that gets around having to go through the stress of ordering directly from Kimchi.

Is it safe to assume that option is off the table? Just wondering!

I would love to read a reply to this one! :D

Why do you peole want group buy, you can order it from kimchi :d

With the group by you avoid the website crashing, the eggs idea of having to press f5 every 5 seconds , and not having to wake up at midnight to pre order something. So I personally prefer to pay a little bit more if they would be a group buy.

Either way there is no perfect solution - If you take the example of a Blufans GB on the other site, the GB thread was opened and closed within 30 secs...so basically that is how much time you have to secure a copy

TBH - A fairer way would be a lottery - Give everyone a chance to register interest, and then raffle the copies available to all the registered members

I agree there is no perfect solution. The only fair way is ordering direct from Kimchi. Will the website crash YES But this will be experienced by all. Having participated on GBs here, they are brutal as well. The entire allotment may well be gone in less than a minute. You quite honestly stand a better chance ordering directly IMO

While I understand the sentiments of those wanting a GB, it only serves to deny many a chance to order directly from a vendor that ships to most countries. Also IMO, a GB is meant to serve those who are unable to get an item due to shipping restrictions. That's not the case here

It is a cruel reality but has been an essential part of collecting.

All this talk about GB's failing and the site crashing is really putting me off. I think I'm gonna miss this out. :(

Well said. Exactly how I feel. Even if its stressful and difficult to order, that's true for everyone. No one has an advantage. And fairness for everyone should take precedence over convenience for a few. If it was easy to acquire what would be the fun in that!:naughty::movie:
