I'm pretty sure the 2.5K print run will really help. I don't think this can possibly go as quickly as Thor 2 or Frozen, since those were both limited to 1K only and there are 2 points to consider (diff for each release)

Frozen was really only 600 total units (400 + 200)
Thor was 700 + 300 but with 3 lenticulars and 2 quarter slips per customer.

Compare those number to Iron Man
2,500 total units with a 2/1 max per customer

I think it will last longer than 10 minutes, with the final few minutes of ordering being easier on the server since most will jam up the servers in the first 10 minutes and then be finished and leave the website freeing up space.

Also, someone posted a few pages ago that Choi has said they are working on a server upgrade, so all this seems fairly promising. But I'm still gonna be all when it goes live.

Both Kimchi and HDN to an extent are unable to cope up with huge traffic. BR is way better in this regard. It hurts to say but sadly the inconvenient truth.

Hey guys - on our last group buy that was run here, there were NO server crashes. With so many people pressing f5 at the same time, it is not unusual to see a small lag in server response time on any server - and you'll note that we're running our OWN DEDICATED SERVER, just for HDN. There is not another website sharing this server with us.

And furthermore, I'd like to note, that since our server move of last year, the forum is running in an more efficient manner and any maintenance down time you have recently noticed have been for upcoming enhancements.

I'd appreciate it if folks don't spread false statements about the HDN servers - and I would be glad to discuss privately if you have any pressing concerns.

HDN always goes to bat for its members. I had no probs with the Frozen Kimchi GB. Which is why so many of us want the same (A Group Buy Here!!!) for Iron Man Kimchi! Can't wait to hear what HDN and Kimchi work out for us! Thanks for everything Andy!

You guys shouldn't hype this so much. Kimchi is secretly monitoring this thread. Every new page adds 1 dollar to the eventual price. Currently at $89 dollars .

I will definitely pass if the artworks sucks, I don't buy steelbooks just because they are popular.
