Wow... I miss a couple days of posting, and things get Wild up in here. So is Tony Starke going to be wearing some leather underwear on the front? Triple H style :hilarious: One piece of information that puts me at ease, is the slightly larger print run. If Kimchi can update their website to resemble Plain Archives, than this should be smooth sailing.

With a 2500 print run getting this shoudlnt be an issue to acquire

HAHA dont bank on it... all depends on if there is a limit to how many orders, say its split half and half, lenti and 1/4, and everyone can order 2 of each, thats 600 collectors/scalpers which isnt a massive amount really. over 200 people tried to get a copy of frozen blufans in under a minute for GB on the 'other' site so i cant see this being easy to aquire!!!

I can't see why HDN can't secure at least half of that for the group buy here since Choi can't do it any more and was too tasking for Kimchidvd to handle all the separate orders. This way,the load won't be too much for them to handle it.Otherwise,it would be pointless to limit the order to 1 copy each since in turn, that would just be the same of holding a group buy and would make it a very difficult and massive task to fill all of the orders.

No GB ensures every individual has their own chance of getting a copy. I support whatever kimchidvd does with their steels. Hopefully there is a limit on how many steelbooks can be ordered per person. :)

I think with the increased printrun (2.5k instead of 1K), a limit of 2 per full and 1/4 slip are fine and wont cause as much drama as Thor 2 and Frozen. No need of a 1 copy limit and I dont think we will need a GB for most members to secure some copies. And theres enough buzz around this release for everybody to be prepared to battle for a preorder when it goes live. I dont think its going to be a cakewalk but most likely not as bad as Thor and Frozen. Cant wait:oohyeah:

The fact that those releases had lower print runs is part of what made them sought after. This will be diffrent. Maybe easy is the wrong word but let's not act like it's gonna sell out in 2 minutes either. If you want one bad enough then you shouldn't have a problem if you prepare yourself for it going live.

Provided you know when it goes live and have the ability to pull the trigger at the time. I'm sure there will be people who want it who will be unfortunate enough to be at work at the time and may lose out. I know there have been a couple versions of this already, but believe there are enough collectors out there who will have to have it to make it difficult for someone not there when it all goes down. IMO anyway.

I agree. My only point is that this won't be kimichi frozen, blufans frozen, or kimichi Thor type situations. That's my only point tho, will it still sell out in a day? Yea it's very possible but will it sell out in a minute. Not likely

Only because the website will crash harder than Wall Street :hilarious:

This is my chief concern, at the moment. I get that the print run may make this different from Frozen, but I still think many people are going to hit that website at the same time, the moment it's released. For Frozen, I tried for 30 minutes, and not once was I able to get a full page to load or even to be able to see a "Buy" button. Waiting until the buzz dies down - perhaps a little later in the day - will make many nervous.

I really hope it's different for Iron Man and that there is smooth sailing.

To be honest and completely objective, a GB is a huge pain in the ass to all who are supervising it. Kimchi is not receiving any more money out of that venture, so there may be a lack of incentive. That said, from an ethical standpoint it ensures to some degree that the allotted amount does not get to the hands of scalpers... or at least not as easily. I for one hope that if not Choi, then someone with the possibility to host a GB does so. Many people state "fairness" as a reason not to hold one. If Kimchi upgraded their servers it would be an entirely different situation. As a consumer, and collector I hope a more effective way is implemented, before the release of this amazing exclusive
