A Ninja Mafia Syndicate......:hilarious:

We can use ropes! :hilarious:

Back on subject, but it would be cool if 10 or more of us to banded together and tried to order the max amount and agreed to split the bounty amongst each other. We either get 30 or 3, draw straws or fight on top of The Pit from Mortal Kombat. They would tell stories about us, we would be legends... LEGENDS!

That sounds like a groupbuy.

or they could do 2 separate go-live times so everyone can focus on one edition at a time. even if i have to pay a few bucks extra for 2 shipments i dont care. at least i can get both versions.

Completely agree! There should be 2 separate go live times so BOTH Europeans and Americans have a suitable time scale and chance of securing one, preferably on a weekend.

I think he means times for the lenticular and the 1/4 slip editions, as opposed to separate times to facilitate different countries worldwide. I can understand both suggestions, however I can't see it really addressing the core issue of potential server load. Whatever is first, those worldwide will try their utmost to find a computer whatever time of day it is, and use the 2nd release as their 'fallback' buy, should their 1st attempt fail. Especially for such a high-demand release like this.

Hopefully the scalpers will have a heart this time round. Please step aside even just this once, have respect for those that truly want this and would like to see this become a grail and not just another expensive ebay venture, this steel deserves more than that. It's fine ordering 2 as you want to secure a mint copy but please allow the other copy to go to a fellow collector for the actual or fair price. Of course if you want just to keep one sealed and one open you've every right, fair play.

We can make this a great release people, let's do this! I hope as many collectors as possible get to enjoy this beauty. I know there's no artwork yet but let's face it, we're already drooling over this bad boy!

Been in this game since the beginning of the G2 steelbook and unfortunately it has been the same since day one. Any chance of making a $$$ and releases will be scalped.

Unfortunately, this scenario works for the retailer, none specifically but rather a general term, as at the end of the day the steelbook sells out. Almost a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Limit pre-order amounts and get stuck with a bunch of stock or don't limit and have a bunch of upset collectors

I truly believe the smaller retailers care about people like us, but the larger one's could give a rat's behind so long as they make their sales.

Cheers

The is another non-kimchidvd exclusive copies only sold for local customer but no extra at all.

only Kimchidvd exclusive has plenty of extra except booklet because paramount does not approve booklet for iron man.

see what package will delivered to this edition.

sent from Galaxy S4

So the WEA is Not exclusive to Kimchidvd but it is for Korea. That means other retailers will be able to sell this from Korea. I think that is great news. It'll give everybody a better chance of owning this design on their steelbooks.

While I am happy with Kimchi and their products overall, I REALLY wish all companies not just them, would stop with the gimmick of TWO different slips! It forces REAL collectors and completists such as myself to buy BOTH copies and thus makes it harder for everyone else to obtain a copy since they are so limited. Yes I know this comment should be in the retailer thread BUT we are discussing slips right now so I thought I would bring it up...I know this is just my opinion but am I alone in thinking this?? :dunno:
No

Not that I am a completist but I actually prefer just a single release rather than these releases within a release. I also guessing that many more collectors would be able to get their hands on these if you reduce fragmentation of releases while maintaining reasonable order limits.

We have to remember that it was the 1/4 slip that got us interested in the Korean and Taiwan releases to begin with. They need to keep pleasing us hardcore 1/4 slip collectors at the same time pleasing people with full slips. I want both.

I totally agree. But the last 2 exclusives have had 3 variants. 1/4 slip and lenticular is fine. I hope variants can be kept to a minimum
